Who Do We Serve?

Who do we serve? People like you, your neighbors, and your friends. Our focus is "Caring for Community." Last year almost 4500 people were served in our programs.

We may provide emergency services to a person who is suicidal; educate and mentor at-risk children; provide peer support training and critical incident debriefing services to police officers and others. We may advocate for services and supports for a grandmother to improve her quality of life;, provide daily support in one of our supervised residences; or assist a family in finding affordable housing. Our wellness and recovery programs offer self-help groups, peer support services, trauma treatment and work opportunities that enable members of our community to live fulfilling, rewarding and productive lives.

Caring for Community

"Caring for Community" means not only helping our clients become healthier and more self reliant, it also means that as a vital member of the community we employ over 275 local residents, and inject 15 million dollars a year into the Rhode Island economy. We use public funds sensibly to reduce inefficiency by coordinating care with neighboring non-profit agencies.
