BVMHR is a non-profit and tax exempt Rhode Island organization dedicated to developing an array of housing options for individuals and families with behavioral health needs. BVMHR coordinates the property management services of its multiple successful developments. The BVMHR Board also monitors the support service needs of its tenants and coordinates with NRICS and other home and community-based service agencies. CEO & Technical AssistanceChris Stephens, MS is the President/CEO of Blackstone Valley Mental Health Realty, Inc. (BVMHR), Community Residential Services, and the HUD borrowers corperations affiliated with NRI Community Services, Inc. All the above non-profit, tax exempt organizations are overseen by citizen Boards comprised of mental health, homeless, affordable housing, elderly and disabled and sober housing advocates. Mr. Stephens has provided Technical Assistance Consultation and Training Services (TACTS) on "Supported Housing" options in multiple states. He has also served on numerous local, state and national Boards and steering committees devoted to de-institutionalization, community acceptance, ex-offenders, financing options, homelessness prevention, and special needs of people in recovery with co-occurring medical or employment needs. Mr. Roland M. Boucher, Chair of BVMHR, and Stephens formed BVMHR and its HUD borrowers corporations and recently Community Residentail Services has also affiliated with NRI Community Services, Inc. |
