Community Staffing Resources (CRS) operates licensed assisted living homes for adults requiring assistance with special needs including behavioral health issues. An essential ingredient of our program is the close referral relationship with families, hospitals and community mental health agencies. This allows residents with emotional, psychological and substance abuse problems to get the specialized services that they need.

CRS takes pride in its unique one-to-one relationship with residents. Since homes are small, 20 - 40 residents, we are able to create a safe, comfortable and caring relationship in a home-like environment that fosters personal growth and independence.

Activities

Residents are encouraged to take part in numerous activities including art, barbecues, excursions to parks and the seashore, as well as participation in adult day care centers and community sponsored events.

• Fully furnished rooms
• Housekeeping & laundry service
• Check cashing, and postal service
• Assistance with medical care
• Case management through community service agencies
• Medication administration
• Incentive rewards/allowance program
• Financial custodianship with representative payee on site

Special Needs

Our homes coordinate with non-profit and public agencies to serve the needs of veterans, persons with mental illness, individuals with prior substance abuse and/or those with criminal justice involvement. We are not staffed to serve the needs of residents who require skilled nursing care.

Application & Eligibility

All our homes accept referrals from healthcare providers, families, the Department of Corrections and the Veteran's Administration. Residents must be able to exit the building in an emergency without assistance, have no medical problems requiring long-term nursing care and be approved for assisted living by the appropriate agency. Our management team will assist you with the admission process, screening and entitlement application.

Staff

Our experienced and caring staff offer emotional support and comprehensive life skills management. Each home is managed by a licensed adminstrator. A consulting registered nurse evaluates resident's healthcare and assists the Administrator in developing individualized service plans. Staff are CPR and food safety certified and most are certified medication technicians.

Access

Homes are centrally located on bus lines with convenient access to recreational activities, stores lbraries and hospitals.
