Become A Friend of NRI Community Services

You can help by becoming a "Friend of NRICS." Friends of NRICS are people who live or work in areas we serve and support the work that we do. We call on Friends for advice or assistance when needed. The following is some information about NRICS to help you decide if you would like to be a Friend:

Core Services

We provide 24/7 crisis intervention and emergency services, outpatient counseling, supportive services and substance abuse treatment for adults, at-risk youth and elders.

The Agency emphasizes home and community-based case management, housing, employment, psychiatry, counseling, peer support and rehabilitation services.

We serve people with acute and long-term mental illness, as well as those seeking in-office counseling to help them through trying times.

We operate multiple supervised and independent living options for persons in recover (substance abuse, mental illness, dually diagnosed).

All our clients are full partners with a team of professionals who respect their choices when developing their goals. We focus on instilling hope, enabling self-help and reducing the risk of relapse. We are licensed in Rhode Island and accredited by CARF, and a member of The Fund for Community Progress.
