Statewide Partners Bring Behavioral Health Information to the Public

NRICS, Along With Other Agencies, Partners with Rhode Island Quality Institute to Bring Behavioral Health Information to the Public

Network of Care, an informational website, will be launched statewide by the Rhode Island Quality Institute. This website is designed to provide critical content for those in need of comprehensive behavioral health information.

A single point of entry and communication and advocacy tools will give individuals, families and agencies concerned with mental and emotional wellness a starting place for gathering comprehensive information. On this project, Rhode Island Quality Institute partners with NRI Community Services, Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island, Butler Hospital, Gateway Healthcare, Inc, Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island, The Providence Center, Rhode Island Council of Community Mental Health Organizations, and the Rhode Island Parent Information Network.

This new website includes information about insurance, legislative activity related to behavioral health issues, a database for finding appropriate services, and community announcements and nationwide news. Advocacy links to ease community involvement are also included. A folder can be customized for holding personal healthcare and community support information.
