Hospital Diversion

24hour/7day Integrated Behavioral health Services

Our acute stabilization and hospital diversion/step-down program is provided in a safe, client friendly non-hospital setting.

Clients are treated in a homey comforting environmentThe treatment program consists of psychiatric and medication assessment, individual counseling and group sessions aimed at providing instructive life skills, support and problem solving.

Our Staff

The 10 bed unit is staffed by nurses, counselors, case managers, and psychiatric practitioners (MD, MSN) who work as a team to ensure client stability.

The unit has a sunny common area with television, reading materials and outdoor views

The Program

We rapidly assess and resolve the most pressing issues for the client utilizing biopsychosocial interventions aimed at helping the client develop new adaptive coping skills while enhancing his/her existing strengths, survival skills and resiliency. Services are flexible and tailored to meet the client's needs. The following services are provided.
  • Hospital step-down services
  • 24 hour crisis screening and assessment
  • Case management
  • Psychiatric nursing
  • Medical services, psychiatric assessment and psychiatry services
  • Medication prescribing, monitoring and administration
  • Linkage to other residential or community-based housing alternatives
  • Therapeutic group treatment options
  • Linkage to follow-up services upon discharge
  • Facilitation of in-patient psychiatric or medical admission if needed
  • Peer support, education and recovery model
  • Integrated co-occurring treatment
  • Family meetings
