Child and Family ServicesWe offer a full range of behavioral health services for children, adolescents and their families. These services are available for children as young as 18 months through 18 or 21 years depending on legal status. Child & Adolescent Intensive Treatment ServicesTargeted for children with risk for psychiatric hospitalization or placement outside of the home due to emotional and behavioral concerns. This short-term, intensive program provides families with home and community-based behavioral health and casemanagement services. While every family is assigned a primary clinician, the program uses a team approach in order to provide a more comprehensive mode of treatment for each child and family. Treatment plans are developed in collaboration with the family. Psychiatric and Nursing ServicesChildren and adolescents may receive a psychiatric/medication evaluation, if clinically indicated. The psychiatrist and a psychiatric nurse monitor children on medications. Additional nursing services include monitoring for medication side effects, coordination with the primary care physician when children/adolescents have co-occurring medical conditions, and consultation and education services for the parents/guardians regarding medications.
