Outpatient Behavioral Health Services

Outpatient Behavioral Health Services meet the needs of people who might be experiencing mental health issues such as anxiety or depression, substance abuse problems, or addictions developed secondary to post trauma. Whether grieving the loss of a loved one, trying to cope with a traumatic event, or overcoming an addiction or anxiety disorder — we help people cope with the stressful times that exist in everyone's life at one time or another.

Individual Counseling

Individual Counseling Services provide goal oriented counseling that address the issues and concerns identified during the assessment and treatment planning process. Dually licensed or experienced practitioners assist clients in understanding and coping with the interactive effects of co-occurring mental health and substance abuse problems. In addition, clients with other service needs are provided referrals to other NRICS programs or to affiliates and partner organizations in the community.

Outpatient Psychiatry

Psychiatrists and nurses are available for clients who may need medication treatment and nursing support to address psychiatric and/or addiction symptoms.

Addiction Services

Medical staff may prescribe anti-craving medications to help in the recovery process. For example, Suboxone, a safe, easy, effective medication might be prescribed for oxyconton addiction or other opioid dependence.

Group Counseling

Clients attend group sessions tailored specifically to mental health and/or addiction issues that educate on topics related to their diagnoses and recovery.

Group counseling may include information on: depression, anxiety, parent-child relationships, the physical and life style effects of alcohol and other drugs, relapse prevention, building self-esteem, and trauma recovery.

Family, Marriage and Couples Counseling

The goals of family counseling services are to assist families in creating a positive environment and to address challenges and issues to include social, emotional and/or behavioral problems, parent-child relationship issues, parenting skills development, separation/divorce issues, stepfamily and blended family adjustments, and other issues as identified. Family members and significant support persons receive the information they need to effectively support the client with life's stress.
