Veterans Services

NRI Community Services receives funding from diverse sources and, therefore, can offer a variety of services to veterans and their families. We are a member of Rhode Island Employers Support for the Guard and Reserve. Only some programs are directly supported by the Veterans Administration.

Veterans Residential Services

Our residential programs serve individuals who have experienced trauma, homelessness and/or receive mental health and substance abuse treatment.

Services for veterans are provided at Wilson House and Mabel Anderson House at 80 Summit Street in Pawtucket and at the Capitol Hill House in Providence.

Assisted Living

Veterans are eligible for placement in Community Residential Services (CRS) facilities in Providence and Woonsocket. These houses provide meals, laundry, medication prompts, and individualized plans in collaboration with the Veterans Administration, NRI Community Services, Vet Centers or other providers.

Support for Families

Multidisciplinary teams can provide psychiatry, nursing, social work, medication, housing, employment and assistance with family needs.

Child & Family Services

Our Woonsocket-based multidisciplinary teams can serve Guard, Reserve and veterans of any era or branch with a variety of child, family, and adolescent programs.
