Veterans ServicesNRI Community Services receives funding from diverse sources and, therefore, can offer a variety of services to veterans and their families. We are a member of Rhode Island Employers Support for the Guard and Reserve. Only some programs are directly supported by the Veterans Administration. Veterans Residential ServicesOur residential programs serve individuals who have experienced trauma, homelessness and/or receive mental health and substance abuse treatment. Services for veterans are provided at Wilson House and Mabel Anderson House at 80 Summit Street in Pawtucket and at the Capitol Hill House in Providence. Assisted LivingVeterans are eligible for placement in Community Residential Services (CRS) facilities in Providence and Woonsocket. These houses provide meals, laundry, medication prompts, and individualized plans in collaboration with the Veterans Administration, NRI Community Services, Vet Centers or other providers. Support for FamiliesMultidisciplinary teams can provide psychiatry, nursing, social work, medication, housing, employment and assistance with family needs. Child & Family ServicesOur Woonsocket-based multidisciplinary teams can serve Guard, Reserve and veterans of any era or branch with a variety of child, family, and adolescent programs. More about Child & Family Services Our NetworkWe network with other agencies to provide services that are tailored to the specific needs of our clients. The following agencies are part of our network: Emergency ServicesEmergency screening, referral and hospital diversion or admission services are available 24/7. We also provide crisis intervention services for critical incidents. |
